Dell is throwing a party in Second Life to celebrate the release of Evan Almighty, a new film which claims to be the first carbon neutral movie (let's hope it's not comedy-neutral as well). Laura Thomas, Dell's "metaversal correspondent", describes the party thus:
This Sunday, June 10, while the movie premiere is happening in Real Life in Los Angeles, we'll be throwing a Rock the Ark party in Second Life with unique, behind-the-scenes footage of the film, along with the music of Frogg Marlowe and Jaycatt Neko! In the spirit of the movie, where God directs Evan to build an ark, we're encouraging everyone to attend two-by-two as their favorite animal (non-anthropomorphic residents are certainly welcome, too! Join us there from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. SLT!
