Rob Frankel, who describes himself as "the best branding expert on the planet", doesn't like Second Life. Or rather, he doesn't like the people who use Second life:
Just ask anyone who's had any exposure to the people who play Dungeons and Dragons and you'll get an idea of what Second Lifers are like. Losers, mainly.
If there's one thing that I've learned about branding, it's that you don't begin your pitch by insulting potential customers. What's more, Rob actually has nothing more to say: his entire argument about the value of Second Life is simply to insult its users. Of course, we've heard this argument before - I personally heard it being used a lot twelve years ago, about a little technology called the web.
Rob, if you've got nothing constructive to say, don't bother talking - ok?
